11th Tehran Int'l Animation Festival announces jury

The 11th edition of the Tehran International Animation Festival has announced the jury members of the event.

Hamed Jafari, Ravanbakhsh Sadeqi, Farrokh Yekdaneh, Sadat Rahimzadeh and Amir Mehran were named as this edition’s jury.

The jurors will judge some 98 animated short films and one feature animation that are taking part at the national competition section of the gala.

According to the event’s website, the festival aims at “creating an appropriate ground for exchange of ideas, thoughts and experiences by purposeful collection and presentation of artworks, spotting potentials and encouraging new comers to create and innovate, and developing abilities by adopting new attitudes and techniques in order to reach a higher quality.”

The 11th Tehran International Animation Festival will be held by the Institute for Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults on March 3-7, 2019.
